Minnesota Safe at Home
As of January 1, 2025, Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Safe at Home Policy takes effect. This policy requires a unique EVV practice only for participants of the Safe at Home Program.
Safe at Home is a statewide address confidentiality program administered by the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State. It is designed to help survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, or others who fear for their safety maintain a confidential address.

The Safe at Home participants P.O. Box address is listed on the member’s file in MMIS.
The address is sent from Department of Human Services (DHS) through MMIS to HHAeXchange when members information and authorizations are connected to the providers portals.
The Safe at Home participant's P.O. Box registered in the EVV system is the only location used for the service delivery.
