Mobile App Chat Services Overview

The HHAeXchange Mobile App Chat Services feature allows text-like communication between a Caregiver and their Agency, offering various benefits to include:

  • Asynchronous communication between Agency and Caregiver without the phone call burden;

  • Real-time communication method for Caregivers to ask questions and raise concerns; and

  • Agencies can assign selected users to specific Chat Topics for concentrated focus.

This category covers the Mobile App Chat Services functionality in the HHAeXchange system to include enabling the feature, creating Topics, Topic Assignment, and Chat Management.

When initially configuring Chat Services, the following steps are recommended for a smooth workflow:

  1. Grant Role Permissions to Agency users who are assigned to communicate with Caregivers via Chat Services.

  2. Create optional Chat Topics (if applicable) via the Reference Table Management feature.

  3. Enable Chat Services at the Office Level.
