Georgia Payroll Tax Requirements
There are three required tax items you need in order to get set up for payroll.

Withholding Number
New businesses can register online with the Georgia Department of Revenue.
Labor Account Number
New businesses can register online with the Georgia Department of Labor.
If your business is a non-profit and you are not currently registered with the Georgia Department of Labor, you must complete the registration process via mail.
Total Tax Rate
New businesses will receive their Total Tax Rate upon successful completion of their registration with the Department of Labor.

You can access your Withholding Number online through your Department of Revenue Tax Center Account.

Your Georgia Withholding Number is on any filing form sent to you by the Department of Revenue.

Your Department of Labor Account Number is on any previous Quarterly Tax and Wage Report (DOL 4N).

You can find your Total Tax Rate online.

You can find your rate on the Employer Tax Rate Notice (DOL-626) mailed to every employer in late December.

Link us as your third-party administrator ensures we are able to complete the quarterly filings and amendments (if applicable) in a timely manner.
