How do I delete a visit?

Visits can be deleted from the system in various sections wherever a delete icon is present for visits. Only visits that have not been confirmed or billed can be deleted.

To delete visits that have already been exported, you must first un-export them. For more information, see Un-export a Claim.

Complete the following steps to delete a visit from the patient or caregiver calendar.

  1. From the Calendar page, click the red X in the date cell.

  2. The Delete Visit window opens. Select a reason for the deletion from the Reason dropdown field and add a supporting note in the Note field, if needed.

  3. Click Delete to remove the visit from the calendar.
