Coordinator Access Controls for Document Management

Overnight Shift Splitting
|
What's New |
Why It Matters |
What You Need to Know |
|---|---|---|
|
Caregivers who work overnight shifts can now clock in and out just once — the system automatically splits the shift at midnight into two visits behind the scenes. No extra steps needed during the shift. |
Overnight shifts no longer create billing or payroll headaches. Hours are automatically assigned to the right date, keeping your records accurate and your billing clean — without asking caregivers to do anything differently. |
Before turning this on, there are three things to check: (1) Update your invoicing — bills need to come from the split visits, not the original overnight shift. (2) Reconcile your recent timesheets first — this feature applies to any visits not yet confirmed, including past ones, so clear your backlog before enabling. (3) Use for hourly visits only unless your HHAeXchange rep advises otherwise. |
