What's New: September 2026
Enterprise Version 26.09.01
We’re excited to introduce the latest enhancements to your home healthcare experience! Explore what’s new and see how these improvements make your work more seamless than ever.
HHAeXchange is permission-based, so access to certain features may vary depending on your role and organization settings.
Caregiver History on Patient Profile
You can now view a full history of changes to Declined and Residing Caregivers on the Member Profile.
Conflict Management
This release allows your filters to remain intact after adding Notes or sending a Communication from the Conflict Detail page, saving you time while working through a conflict queue. This release also removes remaining invalid "Time-Distance" conflicts previously auto-resolved by HHAX.
Forms: Multi-Submission PDF Export
Agency staff can now generate and download multiple clinical documents across one or many patients in a single action. Users filter and select documents by patient, date range, document type, and status, then submit one bulk export request instead of exporting files individually. Exports run through asynchronous batch processing, are merged into a single downloadable file, and show real-time progress status.
Goal Tracking: Goal Note Template Updates
Goal Tracking Goal Note templates now include full state names, clearer descriptions, and correct state associations. The former "National" template has been renamed "Configurable – Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) / Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) – Goal Tracking Note." Agencies can also reference state-tailored documentation templates for New Jersey, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania.
Med Profile: Biweekly & Every 2 Month Medication Frequency
HHAeXchange now supports two additional medication frequency options — Biweekly (every 14 days) and Every 2 Months (every 60 days) — in the Medication Profile. Medications on these frequencies appear in eMAR and follow the same administration workflows as existing frequencies, including pre- and post-administration vitals and tasks. Schedules stay consistent across the Medication Profile, eMAR, and Medication Administration History.
eMAR: Overnight Visits
For overnight visits spanning two calendar days, the eMAR Date field is now editable and defaults to the current date rather than the scheduled visit start date. Caregivers can select the applicable date from the overnight visit range, so medication administration records accurately reflect when care was delivered.
MD Order: Allow Agency to Select Discipline
When creating or managing MD Orders, clinical users can now select a specific discipline — HHA, PCA, or Aide — from a new Discipline dropdown field. The selected discipline displays across the Review MD Order screen, print previews, generated PDFs, and fax outputs; historical orders remain unchanged.
MD Order: eSignature Update to Include Full Name and Date
The MD Order form and generated printout now automatically include the clinician’s full name, signature date, and timestamp upon electronic signing. This enhancement ensures all required signature details are present to satisfy physician documentation standards and prevent delays in completing orders.
MD Order: Office-Level NPI Support for MD Orders
Goal Tracking: Enhanced goal note printout with EVV times and Medicaid ID for audit compliance.
Forms: Nurse Assessment and PRN Nursing Assessment Auto-Population
The Nurse Assessment and PRN Nursing Assessment templates now automatically populate key fields — patient demographics, physician details, diagnoses, medications, and visit information — using data already stored in Enterprise Clinical. Agencies get faster, more accurate form completion, with updated templates becoming available automatically in the HHAeXchange Forms Library.
Goal Tracking: New Jersey Employment Services Template
We have added the state-compliant Supported Employment Services – Intervention Plan and Service Log template to Goal Tracking for New Jersey providers. Employment specialists can now seamlessly record visit-level ISP outcomes, expected performance standards, and applied interventions to streamline documentation and support audit readiness.
Goal Tracking: Enhanced Goal Note Saving & Improved Reliability
We've enhanced the Goal Note submission experience in HHA+ Mobile with improved retry handling and clearer status messaging during intermittent network connectivity. This update ensures seamless documentation saves, so caregivers can reliably complete required notes and clock out of visits without interruption.
Alternate EVV Feature Parity
We've enhanced the HHAeXchange+ mobile Alternate EVV workflow to achieve full parity with CMA. This includes contract-level signature prompts at clock-out, support for multi-visit verification, and the ability for caregivers to choose between voice and signature verification based on agency settings — ensuring a compliant, consistent experience for caregivers transitioning to the HHAeXchange+ platform.
