View Caregiver Information
Caregivers are created in the Provider platform, but users with CanViewCaregiverProfile access can view Caregiver demographics, employment, and compliance information in the New Payer Portal.
CanViewCaregiverProfile access can be granted from the Edit Roles page under Admin > User Management > Edit Roles.
To view Caregiver information, on the top navigation bar, select Provider and Caregiver and click Caregivers.

On the Calendar page, you can review a Caregivers past and present scheduled Visits, displayed in daily tiles on the monthly calendar.
You can review visit information in the calendar tile or click a calendar tile to open the Visit window to review more information.
Each Visit displayed on the Calendar page shows information including the member, scheduled start and end time, the actual start and end time, whether the Visit is authorized, the billing status, the claim status, the type of Visit (skilled or unskilled), and the Provider.
The Visit window opens the Visit page which displays the schedule, visit info, and bill info tabs.

Caregiver Compliance refers to work requirements set by Contracts and Agencies. Compliance requirements may include updated medical records, a Criminal Background Check, or proof of Certification.
Depending on an Agency’s settings, HHAeXchange may block a Caregiver from being scheduled when a Compliance requirement is not fulfilled. In some cases, HHAeXchange warns the scheduler of the issue.
The Compliance page is comprised of three tabs titled General Requirements, Medicals/Other Compliance, and Verification.

The General Requirements tab is divided into six sections: Hire Date, Discipline/Status, I-9 Requirements, Criminal Background, Training Schools, and Compliance Fields.
Hire Date and Discipline Status are always displayed, but the other sections are optional and must be set to Show in Compliance Setup in the Provider application.

The Medicals/Other Compliance tab is divided into four sections: Hire Date, Discipline/Status, Medicals, and Other Compliance.
Hire Date and Discipline/Status are always displayed, but the other sections are optional and must be set to Show in Compliance Setup in the Provider application.
In the Status column, items are displayed with a Pending status when within 30 days of a due date or an Overdue status when the Caregiver is not Compliant for that Medical or Compliance Item.

On the Profile page, you can review Caregiver Demographics, Employment, and Contact Information.
Employment Type (also known as Discipline or Accepted Service) refers to the type of service a Caregiver is authorized to provide in HHAeXchange. The Caregiver’s Employment Type is used in Authorizations to ensure that a Member receives proper service.
