What is it? |
The MMAC is responsible for imposing sanctions on providers who are deemed to be in violation of a provider manual, state statute, state regulation or federal regulation. The Missouri Medicaid program ensures that the best medical professionals participate in the Medicaid program. To determine the appropriate sanctions, the MMAC takes into account aggravating or mitigating circumstances in accordance with 13 CSR 70-3.030 (click PDF to read the details).
