Billable Hours Calculation

The system automatically calculates the Billable Hours for a visit in the Bill Info tab, using the defined Custom Hour Rounding value in the Contract Service Code.

Billable Hours are the lowest Scheduled or Confirmed visit time rounded using the Service Code rounding rules. If a Service Code rounding rule is not set, the Contract rounding rules applies. The Billable Hours value in the Bill Info tab reflects the calculated hours based on the Service Code and is an accurate final number used before the visit is billed rather than after the visit is billed.
