Can I add multiple servicing addresses for a member?

Multiple addresses can be entered for a linked contract patient (member) and assigned for use with GPS coordinates.

Only providers with payer-granted permissions can edit a patient’s address(es).

Use the Patient Multiple Address feature in Patient > Search Patient > Patient Profile to add patient addresses with the Address Types described in the following table.

Address Type Description

Primary

Unique for each patient and required for the patient profile. The primary address is stored in the patient profile. At least one primary address must be defined.

Allow GPS

(Optional) Can be selected for multiple addresses. This is the address used if GPS is the chosen method to clock in/out (from this address).

Billing

For payers using the multi-rate feature, the billing address is used to decide the rate for a given patient.

The Allow Provider to Update Patient Billing Address option in the Payer system, controls whether a provider can edit the address that’s been designated as the billing address.

With the proper permissions granted by a payer, providers can update a patient’s address to include an address note.

  1. Click the Add link in the Notes column for the specific address.

  2. Type a note in the Notes field.

  3. Click Save.

You can click the GPS icon in the Address Type(s) column to manually edit the GPS coordinates of the address location. Your entry overrides the current latitude and longitude.

Editing GPS Coordinates

If a Patient Address is updated after new coordinates are defined, the coordinates are recalculated based on the revised address.

You can view the Deleted Patient Address History by clicking the link at the top right of the address grid.
