UPR: Patient Placement
Upon receiving a Patient Placement sent by a Payer, Providers can review and accept the placement from the Payer. In these cases, the Provider cannot schedule a Master Week at the moment of placement or prior to accepting the placement.
Once the placement is accepted, the Enterprise system creates a new internal Patient record on the Patient Profile populating key demographic data received from the Payer system. Allow some time for the placement to process in the system. Once a placement is accepted, it cannot be accepted by another Provider.
