Why can't I assign a caregiver to a visit with a Discipline mismatch?
To assign a Caregiver to a Patient visit several requirements must be met. The key requirement is that both the Patient and Caregiver have matching disciplines in their profiles. The system issues the Incorrect Discipline validation to ensure that the assigned Caregiver’s Employment Type (Discipline), matches the Patient’s Accepted Services (Disciplines).
In this case, select a Caregiver who has matching disciplines or update the Caregiver Profile to include the matching discipline. Complete the following steps to update the Caregiver Profile.

Go to Caregiver > Search Caregiver to search and locate the Caregiver.

Select Profile and click the Edit button to open the fields.

Select the applicable discipline(s) checkbox(es) from the Employment Type field (shown below).

Click Save.
Once saved, the Caregiver can be assigned to Patient visit with the matching discipline (Accepted Services in the Patient Profile).
