Mobile Verification and Tolerance Range

-
Go to Admin > Office Setup > Search Office to locate the applicable Office.
-
The Edit Office page opens. In the Mobile section, select the Mobile GPS Visit Verification and Mobile Fixed Visit Verification checkboxes.

Description
Mobile GPS Visit Verification
Use the smartphone’s GPS software to approximate the location of the Caregiver when sending an EVV. Setting a Tolerance Range (ft) or an area (measured in feet) surrounding the address of the visit is required for the EVV to successfully be placed.
Mobile Fixed Visit Verification
Use an FOB device with the Mobile App
These fields may be activated independently of one another; therefore, Agencies may set up the system to accept GPS and FOB EVVs issued by the Mobile App, or just GPS or FOB EVVs.

Click the Save button to register the selections.
The Caregiver must be within the Office’s Tolerance Range of the member’s GPS address in HHAeXchange (for example: within 250 feet) to perform a successful EVV clock in or clock out.
The HHAeXchange+ Mobile app displays the user location when clocking in or out and informs the user when they are outside the Tolerance Range. When a clock in or clock out is performed outside the Tolerance Range, the mobile app prompts the user to select an alternate service location for example: Family Home, Neighbor Home, or Community.
If the Caregiver is outside the Tolerance Range but indicates they are at the Member Home, the mobile app flags the visit as an EVV exception and sends it to the Call Dashboard for review.
