I received a No EVV Denial on my remittance advice (Arizona Providers).

If you receive a No EVV Denial on the remittance received from your Payer, it means the Payer did not receive the EVV data tied to your claim. Follow these steps to confirm whether the visits were transmitted successfully and determine the correct next action.

  1. Access the Arizona ServiceNow portal to check if your EVV visits are showing as Verified. For detailed information about using the Arizona ServiceNow portal, click here.

  2. If the visits are showing as Verified in the ServiceNow portal, re-bill those claims according to your usual re-billing process:

    • Manual Claim Entry: Submit the claim directly via the Payer's portal.

    • Export and Upload: Generate a new export batch and upload the file to the Payer's site.

    • Clearinghouse Submission: For agencies utilizing BillSync, generate a new export batch and submit it to the clearinghouse.

  3. If the visits are missing from the ServiceNow portal, open a Support Ticket in the HHAeXchange Customer Support Portal with the following settings:

    • Category: Data & Integration

    • Sub category: EVV Aggregation Support

    • Include the patient visit information, including the dates of service, and attach a copy of the Explanation of Benefits/Payment to the case.
