Authorization Guardrail Dashboard

The Authorization Guardrail Dashboard under the Dashboards menu contains a set of widgets that measure Authorization Guardrails for Limit Reached, Underutilized (Hours), Over utilized Prior to Guardrails, and Service Hours Prevented.

Guardrails prevent Authorizations from being over-used and Members from being over-serviced by restricting the number of hours that can be allocated by Providers each month. Guardrails must be set up for use with Authorizations as described in the Guardrails topic.

Widget

Description

Guardrails - Limit Reached

All Authorizations for all Providers where the guardrail limit was reached during the filtered time period.

Guardrails - Underutilized

All Authorizations for all Providers where the number of hours used was less than the number of hours allowed by guardrails in the filtered time period.

Guardrails - Service Hours Prevented

Number of Service Hours saved by use of a guardrail for all Authorizations for all Providers in the filtered time period.

Guardrail - On/OFF status (Previous month) All Authorizations for all Providers that were active for at least one day in the previous calendar month.
